Client feedback

What clients actually notice, and where they say so.

Some of it came to the office directly — the notes further down arrived by email or text after a booking and are printed with the sender's permission, trimmed for length and nothing else. The rest sits on Google, Instagram and Facebook, attached to real accounts and beside every other review, including the ones we would not have chosen. This page carries both, along with what we would rather be measured on and exactly what happens on our side when the feedback is not good.

01 — The position

Judge us on the things you can actually check.

Any chauffeur company can set five warm sentences in italics and sign them M.K., Beverly Hills. Nobody reading that can tell whether M.K. exists, whether the sentences were trimmed to fit the card, or whether the trip ever happened — and that is as true of the notes we print further down this page as it is of anybody else's. We publish them because clients ask what other clients thought, and we asked each sender before doing it. We do not publish them as proof.

Proof is the short list of things you can verify before you hand over a card — whether a person answers the phone at four in the morning, whether the figure you were quoted is the figure on the confirmation, whether the operation is TCP licensed and insured, and whether there is a name attached to the company when something goes wrong.

  • A phone a person answers. Ring (323) 799-3190 at any hour, before you book anything, and hear who picks up.
  • A quote in writing first. Vehicle class, route and price, sent before the reservation is confirmed — so there is a document to hold us to.
  • A named owner. RG Singh runs the company, and is the person a complaint about a ride reaches.
  • TCP licensed and insured. Proof of licensing, or a certificate of insurance for a venue or an accounts department, is available on request.

02 — In their own words

Notes clients sent the office, printed with permission.

Each of these arrived by email or text after a booking. They are trimmed for length where they ran long, and nothing else has been altered — including the sentences that are not compliments. First names and initials only, because a chauffeur company should not be publishing a client's full name next to their home neighbourhood.

Our 6:05 out of Brentwood got moved to 5:20 the night before and I never told anybody. The car was outside at 4:35 anyway, because they had been watching the flight rather than my booking form.

That is the whole reason we stopped putting the executive team in cars we hail off a phone.

We landed at Tom Bradley an hour and fifty minutes late with two children asleep on us. The chauffeur was at the bottom of the escalator with both seats already fitted.

Because the wait is counted from when the wheels actually touch down, the delay never turned into a line on the invoice. The figure matched the quote to the dollar.

Priya S.Irvine · LAX transfer

Nine meetings between downtown and Santa Monica in a single day, one car, one chauffeur. By the third stop he had worked out which garages we were using and stopped needing the addresses.

He could not do anything about the 10 at four in the afternoon, and did not pretend otherwise. He had told me that would happen at breakfast.

Marcus H.Investor roadshow, two days

I booked Beverly Hills to LAX for five o'clock on the Friday before a long weekend and braced myself for the markup. It was the same $125 I paid on a Tuesday in February.

I went back and opened the old confirmation because I did not believe it.

Fourteen of us from West Hollywood to Indio on the Friday of Coachella weekend. The van was properly cold, all the luggage went in, and nobody made a speech about the hours when the Indio traffic did what it does.

Getting back on the Sunday was the part I had been worried about, and it was the easiest leg of the trip.

Van Nuys, planeside, six in the morning. The car was cleared onto the apron and it was there when the door opened. Two companies before this one told me that could not be arranged.

Two cars for the wedding — the ceremony in Malibu and the last run back to the hotel at one in the morning. One of them arrived about ten minutes late because PCH was closed at Las Flores, and the thing I want to say about it is that they rang me before I had noticed, not after.

Booking is a phone call or an email rather than an app, and if what you want is a map with a moving dot on it, this is not that. What you get instead is a text an hour ahead with the chauffeur's name and the plate, and a car that is already outside when you come down. For a wedding day I would take the second one every time.

Shortened only where a message ran to several paragraphs; wording, punctuation and the criticisms are the sender's. No star average is printed on this page and there is no rating markup in the code behind it — a figure we typed ourselves is not a figure a platform calculated. The public listings below are the independent record.

03 — Where they are

Three places the feedback is already public.

Every one of them is outside our control, which is the whole point of sending you there. Open any of the three, sort by newest rather than by rating, and read what is actually there.

The notes further up this page came to us directly and are printed with permission. Nothing on this site has been copied across from any of the three listings below, cut down to fit a card, or tidied up into something smoother than what was written.

There is no star average printed anywhere either, and no rating markup in the code behind this page. A number we typed ourselves is not the same as a number a platform calculated, and marking one up as though a search engine had verified it would be worse.

04 — When it goes wrong

What happens after you tell us something was not right.

Not every ride is faultless. A chauffeur takes a bad route, a car waits at the wrong terminal, an invoice and a quote disagree. This is the path that complaint takes, and it is deliberately short.

It reaches the office, not a queue

Call, text or email and it lands with the people who dispatched the car, in the inbox RG Singh reads. There is no support tier in between, and nothing is handed to somebody who has never seen the reservation.

The reservation gets pulled up

The written confirmation, the quoted price, the vehicle assigned and the times recorded all sit together, so the conversation starts from what was agreed rather than from who remembers what.

If the fault is ours, we say so

There is no script here for defending a bad ride. Where we got it wrong the invoice is put right, and where the cause sits somewhere else — a flight that moved, an address entered incorrectly — you will be told that plainly too.

The cause gets changed, not just the charge

A car at the wrong terminal usually means flight details never reached the chauffeur. A late pickup usually means the day was scheduled too tightly the evening before. Those are dispatch faults, and they are worth fixing once rather than apologising for twice.

05 — The measure

Four things worth holding us to.

If you are still deciding, these are more useful than an average score, because each one can be checked on a single ride and none of them depends on trusting us.

Early, not on time
A chauffeur who arrives exactly as the clock strikes has left nothing spare for a lift, a gate or a bag that will not fit. Ours are expected to be in place before the pickup time, and on airport runs before the aircraft is on the ground.
The price on the confirmation
Whatever was quoted is what the invoice says. No surge multiplier appears because it rained, no booking fee is discovered afterwards. Waiting time and added stops are the only things that move a total, and both are agreed before they are charged — the reasoning is set out on why book direct.
The car that was described
Six classes to choose from, every car cleaned between rides, and the class you reserved rather than something “equivalent” sent because the sedan was already out. Where a substitution genuinely cannot be avoided you hear about it before the car arrives, not from the driveway. The whole list is on the fleet page.
A chauffeur who reads the room
Silent through a call, useful about a route, and invisible when the conversation in the back is not meant for them. It is the hardest of the four to put into words and the easiest of the four to notice when it is missing — which is what chauffeur service is supposed to mean.

06 — If you are writing one

How to write a review that helps the next person.

Most reviews of car services say some version of great service, on time, would use again. It is kind of you, and it is close to useless to the person reading it at midnight, deciding who to trust with a five o'clock airport run.

The useful ones are specific. Which vehicle, which route, what time of day, and what actually happened — the flight landed two hours late and the car was still there; the invoice matched the quote to the dollar; the driver took the 405 at four in the afternoon and it cost twenty minutes. Detail is what makes a review checkable, and checkable is what makes it worth reading.

And if the ride was ordinary, write that. An unbroken wall of five-star praise is the least believable thing on the internet. A fair three-star review with a reason in it does more for a real operation than another paragraph of superlatives, because it tells the next reader that the good ones were not arranged.

Nothing is offered in exchange for a review here — no discount, no credit, no free upgrade, and no request to post one before you have actually travelled. A reputation a company has paid for tells you nothing about the ride you are about to take.

07 — Questions

Reviews, ratings and complaints.

They came to the office by email or text after a booking, and each sender was asked before it went up. They are shortened where a message ran long and otherwise unedited, which is why one of them describes a car arriving late. What they are not is independently checkable, and no amount of wording on our part can make them so — that is what the Google, Instagram and Facebook listings are for, and why they are linked rather than quoted.

On our Google Business Profile, which is where most clients leave feedback, and on our Instagram and Facebook pages. All three are linked from this page. Sorting by newest rather than by rating is the most useful way to read any of them.

No. There is no star average printed anywhere on this site and no rating markup in the page code. Anything written in our own marketing is our own claim rather than a verified score; the rating on Google is calculated by Google from reviews attached to real accounts, which is the one worth checking.

RG Singh, who owns the company, and the office that dispatched the car. There is no ticket queue and no separate customer-service tier, which is why a reply usually arrives with the reservation already pulled up.

The full path a complaint takes is set out in section 03 above.

Open the Google listing, choose the review option and write what happened. Naming the vehicle, the route and the time of day makes it far more useful to the next person deciding, and we would rather have an accurate account than a generous one.

No. Nothing is discounted, credited or upgraded for a review, and nobody is asked to post one before they have travelled. A reputation a company has paid for tells the next customer nothing.

08 — Next step

Read what others wrote. Then judge for yourself.

The reviews are a few taps away and none of them were written by us. When you have read enough of them, a date, a pickup and a passenger count is all we need to send a written figure back.
