Terms and conditions.
The terms below apply to every reservation RG Black Limo LLC accepts. They are written to be read rather than skipped — short clauses, no defined-term maze.
01 — Scope
Who this is between, and what it covers.
These terms form the agreement between RG Black Limo LLC (“we”, “us”) and the person or organisation that makes a reservation (“you”). They cover chauffeured ground transportation supplied in California, whether that reservation is made by telephone, by text, by email or through the form on our reserve page.
Where a written confirmation, quotation or signed agreement for a specific booking says something different from a clause below, the document issued for that booking governs. Nothing on this page is intended to reduce a right you hold under California consumer law or under the regulations that apply to licensed charter-party carriers.
This page is a plain-language summary of how we work, not a substitute for the confirmation we send you. If any figure, window or condition matters to your booking, ask for it in writing before you travel — we would rather answer the question than argue about it later.
02 — Booking and money
Reservations, quotations and payment.
- Reservation
- A booking exists once we have confirmed it to you in writing. A request left by voicemail, text or form — or a figure discussed on a call — is not a reservation until that confirmation goes out with the date, the pickup, the vehicle class and the price on it.
- Quotations
- Prices shown anywhere on this site, including “from” figures and the set-price runs on our routes page, are starting points rather than offers capable of acceptance. The figure that binds us both is the one on your confirmation.
- What a figure includes
- Unless your confirmation says otherwise, a quoted figure covers the vehicle, a professional chauffeur, fuel, standard waiting time, tolls on the route and bottled water in the car.
- What can move a total
- Extra stops added on the day, time held beyond the booked hours, a route changed at your request, waiting beyond the allowance, parking or venue charges we are made to pay, and gratuity where you ask us to add it. Nothing else is added after the fact.
- What cannot move it
- Demand, weather, a holiday, a busy terminal or the hour of the night. We do not operate surge pricing, and no booking fee appears after you have agreed a figure.
- Payment
- Accepted payment methods, the timing of any deposit and the point at which a card is charged are stated on your confirmation. Corporate accounts may be invoiced where that has been agreed in advance.
- Changes and cancellations
- Tell dispatch as early as you can on (323) 799-3190 and a reservation is moved or released. The cancellation window and any charge that applies to your booking are stated on your confirmation, because they differ between an hourly booking, an airport transfer and a multi-vehicle event.
03 — On the day
Waiting time, vehicles and passengers.
- Waiting time
- Every booking carries a complimentary waiting allowance, stated on your confirmation. Beyond it, waiting is charged in the increments shown there. The clock is not started early to manufacture a charge.
- Airport pickups
- Flights are tracked against actual movement rather than the printed schedule. At LAX the complimentary allowance is thirty minutes measured from the moment the aircraft lands, not from the time on your ticket — the detail is set out on our airport transfers page.
- Vehicle allocation
- Your confirmation names one of our six classes rather than a specific registration. Photographs on this site show the class, and the car that arrives will be of that class or higher.
- Substitution
- If mechanical or operational reasons make a swap necessary, we substitute an equivalent or larger vehicle at no extra charge and tell you before the pickup rather than at the kerb.
- Capacity
- Seating and luggage limits published on our fleet page are safety limits, not guidelines. A chauffeur cannot carry more passengers than a vehicle is rated for, so please book on the true head count.
- Child seats
- California law requires appropriate restraints for young passengers. Tell us at the time of booking and we will confirm what we can fit for that vehicle class.
- Conduct
- Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any vehicle. A chauffeur may end a journey where behaviour is unlawful, unsafe or directed at them, and the booking is charged in full in that situation.
- Damage and cleaning
- Where a vehicle needs cleaning or repair beyond normal use after a booking, the cost is charged to the person who reserved it. We evidence anything we charge for with photographs.
04 — Responsibility
Delays, property, insurance and governing law.
- Delays
- We build realistic timings and watch flights, but we cannot control traffic, road closures, weather, police activity or airport operations. Where something outside our control affects a journey we tell you as it happens; we are not liable for consequential losses such as a missed flight, connection or performance.
- Events beyond control
- Neither side is in breach of these terms for a failure caused by an event beyond reasonable control — a natural disaster, civil emergency, fire, strike or road closure among them. Where that prevents service, any payment made for the affected booking is refunded.
- Property left behind
- Items found in a vehicle are logged and held for collection, and we will arrange return. Vehicles are not secure storage, so property is carried at your own risk.
- Licensing and insurance
- RG Black Limo LLC operates as a TCP licensed and insured charter-party carrier in California. Licence and certificate details are available on request before you reserve.
- Chauffeurs
- Chauffeurs are dispatched by our own office and sign a non-disclosure agreement before a first job. Passenger names, addresses and destinations are not discussed outside dispatch.
- Liability
- Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability for a booking is limited to the amount paid for it.
- Privacy
- Reservation details are handled as described in our privacy policy, which also explains how to ask us to delete them.
- Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of Los Angeles County have jurisdiction over any dispute.
- Raising a problem
- Call or email dispatch first — most complaints are resolved on the same call by the people who arranged the booking. Our contact page lists every way to reach us.
We may update these terms as the operation changes. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on the date your confirmation was issued.
